Ruyui Studios develops interconnected worlds through games, animation, and storytelling. While also serving as an integral animation studio providing work for talented artists and creating content for global IP’s.

Each project expands the same lore and characters, allowing fans and creators to experience and shape the Ruyui universe across multiple mediums.

NFT Utility & Ecosystem
1. What makes Ruyui NFTs different from standard collectibles?
Ruyui NFTs are playable avatars tied to both lore and in-game progression, bridging art, story, and function.
2. How do Ruyui NFTs gain new traits or evolve over time?
NFTs can transform visually through Resonance Events, and all Ruyui NFT will gain Aura attributes. More details to come.
3. What does owning a Ruyui NFT allow me to do?
Ownership unlocks gameplay perks/discounts, daily resonance token yields, lore creation rights, and future licensing opportunities.
Hub & Staking
1. What is the Ruyui Hub and how do I access it?
The Hub is Ruyui’s central platform for staking, quests, badges, features/tools, and updates. Accessible via the official site https://hub.ruyui.com/
2. How does staking work within the Ruyui ecosystem?
Holders can stake NFTs to earn Resonance Tokens, badges, yield multipliers, and gain access to special Hub features.
3. What are Resonance Tokens, and how are they earned?
Resonance Tokens are awarded for staking participation and in-Hub activity, these tokens are related towards gameplay and will be relevant towards merchandise discounts. However, their use-case is not limited to these things, resonance tokens will be a vital element for other future activations within the Ruyui ecosystem.
4. What are Badges, and how are they obtained?
Badges reflect traits owned on Ruyui NFTs as well as recognize engagement and activity milestones within the Project, from early participation to event contributions.
Gaming (RoE)
1. What is Roots of Embervault and how does it fit into the Ruyui universe?
Roots of Embervault is Ruyui’s flagship pixel RPG, serving as the first game set within the shared universe.
2. Is NFT ownership mandatory to play RoE and is there a free play option?
No, NFT ownership is not required to play Roots of Embervault. There is a minor account creation fee of 0.005 ETH (ETH price will be fixed to ~15 USD) which grants access to the game for users to enjoy. If a user wishes to unlock exclusive features in game, they can purchase a guild pass to unlock these features. More details can be found in
3. Are Ruyui NFT avatars playable in Embervault and other partnered games?
Yes. Ruyui avatars are interoperable across multiple titles, including Embervault and partner games on Abstract. Note: Embervault is starting out as a fixed main character journey, but through future updates, users will be able to utilize their own Ruyui assets.
4. What types of progression or achievements exist in the Ruyui gaming ecosystem?
Players earn materials, achievements, and leaderboard recognition through skill-based, non-pay-to-win progression. However, there is a live marketplace integrated throughout the game where uses can buy and sell in-game items using native cryptocurrency tokens.
Lore & World Building
1. How can community members contribute to Ruyui’s lore?
Through the Lore Library (not yet released), the community can submit stories, backstories, or concepts tied to Ruyui characters and settings.
2. How does lore evolve as the Ruyui universe expands?
Every new release, whether a game, animation, or event, adds layers to the existing timeline, deepening the interconnected narrative.
3. Are fan stories or character backstories eligible for official inclusion in Ruyui media?
Yes, standout submissions may be adapted into official lore, with full credit to their creators.
Resonance Chamber
1. What is the Resonance Chamber and what happens during a Resonance Event?
A mysterious location that will unlock new potential for your characters:
Character Empowerment - Utilize staking points and in-game gold to power up your characters
Aura Revelation - Discover and reveal your character's unique aura
Ancient Gods - Hidden within the aura traits are 13 Ancient Gods tied to the backbone of Ruyui lore
Exclusive Transformations - With luck, holders will have the chance to turn their NFTs into legendary 1/1s (excluding existing 1/1s)
2. How does aura transformation affect an NFT’s appearance or attributes?
Your NFT's metadata will change according to your unique aura reveal, manifesting in both metadata updates and visual transformations.
Some holders will receive common aura traits, while others may discover extraordinary and rare traits that significantly distinguish their character. After Season 2 is concluded, these aura traits will become a permanent part of your NFT's identity, influencing its abilities and appearance across the Ruyui ecosystem.
3. Are there any risks in participating in the Resonance process?
There are no inherit risks to your assets when partaking in the Resonance process, however the traits held or art found may be altered based upon the results of the Aura reveal.
Rights & Licensing
1. What rights do I have when owning a Ruyui NFT?
You hold full personal rights for use, display, and non-commercial projects related to your NFT. Full licensing terms and conditions will be made available for users to read and apply for in the near future.
2. Can I use my NFT’s likeness for personal or commercial projects?
Personal projects are fully permitted; commercial will require coordination with Ruyui for permission and to ensure consistent brand alignment.
3. How does Ruyui handle the inclusion of community NFTs in official productions?
Select NFTs may appear in animations or games with the owner’s consent and proper attribution. — Exact processes for an event of this nature will be further defined soon for holders.
Technical
1. Which network and wallet are required to use Ruyui products?
Ruyui operates on the Abstract Chain and encourages Abstract Global Wallet, while also supporting wallets that are able to utilize the Abstract Network. However for Roots of Embervault, an AGW is mandatory.
2. What should I do if I encounter issues connecting to or using my wallet within the Hub?
Ensure your browser wallet is updated and permissions enabled; if issues persist, contact support through Discord.
3. Are Ruyui’s systems fully on-chain, and what’s planned for future integrations?
Core gameplay and progression are on-chain, with wallet delegation and deeper cross-chain support in development for future adoption on a grand scale.
