Ruyui NFTs are the core of our ecosystem, and we're committed to rewarding holders with meaningful benefits. Our approach prioritizes long-term sustainability over short-term hype.

### Our Philosophy

We're starting small and scaling up over time. Many web3 games have crashed by over-promising NFT perks from day one, creating unsustainable expectations and breaking game balance. We're taking a different path.

**Why start small?** You can always scale up, but you can't scale down without breaking trust. By building perks gradually, we can:

* Keep gameplay fair for everyone
* Welcome new players without gatekeeping
* Deliver consistent value without compromising balance
* Grow the perk system as the ecosystem grows

### Current NFT Benefits

**Global Leaderboard Multipliers** \
NFT holders receive ranking boosts when tied with non-holders. The more Ruyui NFTs you hold (by amount), the higher your multiplier. This affects leaderboard positioning and related rewards.

#### Multiplier Logic

* Every additional NFT increases your multiplier
* Multiplier growth follows a diminishing returns model
* Tier bonuses unlock at:
  * 1 NFT
  * 7 NFTs
  * 20 NFTs
  * 50 NFTs
  * 100 NFTs
  * 200 NFTs
* Total multiplier is capped at **1.35x**

#### Score Formula

Score is rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Discounts on Guild Passes, skins, loot boxes, and other in-game shop purchases. *(Coming soon)*
